A post claimed the daughter submitted a Trump behind-bars photo to X, but state Office of Court Administration spokeswoman Al Baker refuted it. Last year, Baker called the woman's account relaunch the “manipulation of an account she long ago abandoned.”
His attorneys termed Merchan's gag order "an unlawful prior restraint that improperly restricts campaign advocacy by the presumptive Republican nominee and leading candidate in the 2024 presidential election."
"The compilation's 'facts' are false. No recent photo attacks were 'necessary and suitable in the current circumstances,' "I wrote. Merchan said "that any violation of this Order will result in sanctions" under the DA's juror-name criminal contempt legislation.
The complaint claims Cohen and Daniels' harsh criticism of Trump, despite the DA's request, has caused biased publicity. Trump asks an indefinite trial adjournment “until prejudicial press coverage abates.”
