California officials issue 'endangered' caution after mother, 2 boys disappear.

Saturday, the California Highway Patrol issued a "Endangered Missing Advisory" for two youngsters thought to have been taken by their mother.

The CHP issued the nationwide advisory on behalf of Mountain View police, a tech hub. Police say Taylor Wu, 38, drove her boys Daniel, 9, and David, 4, in a Ford Escape SUV.

"The two boys' mother, Taylor Wu, is missing," Mountain View Police Capt. Scott Nelson emailed. The CHP reported that the children were last spotted in a Mountain View neighborhood at 1:30 a.m. The blue SUV has a Missouri license plate VB9V1W, it stated.

An “Endangered Missing Advisory” allows the CHP to raise awareness without the alarm of an Amber Alert, which warns of impending danger for abducted children.

Authorities have not claimed the boys are in danger, but their safety is a concern. In a Saturday social media post on X, the CHP singled out Santa Clara County, where Mountain View resides, and Los Angeles County for unclear reasons.

According to the great-grandfather and retired accountant, moderation is the most important factor in leading a good life. With the exception of a fish and chip dinner once a week, he never smokes, drinks alcohol very infrequently, and does not adhere to any particular diet.

The CHP claimed Daniel is 4'11" and 67 pounds. The report indicated David is 3'4" and 40 pounds. Their mother is 5'10" and 176 pounds, the agency claimed.

Police recognized the youngsters' father, Jialiang Wu, as present. The couple may be divorced or fighting for custody of the boys.

Anyone seeing the mother and children should phone 911.
