Face exercises to promote collagen and look younger.

There is little scientific proof that facial exercises will boost collagen formation and reverse aging, although some claim they can enhance muscle tone, circulation, and look. These facial exercises may make you look younger:

Lifted cheeks: Close your lips and smile widely. Place index fingers lightly on cheek apples. Use cheek muscles to lift cheeks toward eyes. Relax after a few seconds. Repeat 10-15x.

Smoothing forehead: Touch your forehead with your palms and fingers facing in. Push your forehead skin up with mild hand pressure. Pull your eyebrows up while resisting the pressure with your hands. Relax after a few seconds. Repeat 10-15x.

Eye-firming: Put your index and middle fingers under your eyebrows and on the outer corners of your eyes. Gently close your eyes and elevate your eyebrows to close your eyelids. Relax after a few seconds. Repeat 10-15x.

Jawline Toning: Look up at the ceiling with a slight tilt. Chew exaggeratedly with your mouth closed. Jaw and neck muscles work. Repeat 30-to-1 minute.

Lip plumping: Stand or sit erect with relaxed lips. Tighten your lips, then relax. Repeat with puckered lips, as if kissing. Repeat 10-15x.

Neck Firming: Sit or stand tall with relaxed shoulders. Rearrange your head to face the ceiling. Put your tongue on your roof of your mouth and swallow. Repeat 10-15x.

Full-Face Stretch: Sit or stand tall with relaxed shoulders. Widen your mouth and extend your tongue. Relax after a few seconds. Repeat 5-10 times.

Regularly performing these facial workouts may enhance muscle tone and circulation, making the face look younger. However, facial workouts should be done gently to avoid damaging or worsening wrinkles.
