What causes belly fat to be so harmful, and how to get rid of it.

Visceral fat, or belly fat, is dangerous because it secretes hormones and inflammatory chemicals and stores excess energy. Belly fat is dangerous for these reasons:

Visceral fat increases the risk of chronic diseases such type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and some malignancies.

Insulin Resistance: Belly fat can cause insulin resistance, which raises blood sugar and increases type 2 diabetes risk.

Inflammation: Visceral fat releases inflammatory chemicals that cause chronic inflammation and health issues.

Hormonal Imbalance: Excess abdominal fat disrupts hormones that regulate appetite and metabolism, causing weight gain and fat buildup.

Healthy Diet: Limit processed foods, sugary drinks, and saturated fats and eat more fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. If you want to lose weight, watch portion sizes and cut calories.

Regular Exercise: Walk, run, or cycle and do strength training. Cardio reduces body fat, but strength training builds muscle, which boosts metabolism and burns more calories at rest.

Before starting a new diet or exercise routine, especially if you have health issues, see a doctor. They tailor recommendations and support to your requirements and goals.
