What kinds of veggies are rich in iron, and what kinds are they?

Iron is needed for many human activities, including red blood cell formation and oxygen transport. Although meats and shellfish are strong in iron, many plants are too. Some iron-rich vegetables: 

Spinach: Among vegetables, spinach is rich in iron. It can improve iron absorption and has a lot of vitamin C. 

The dark green leafy vegetable kale is another good source of iron. In addition to calcium, vitamin C, and vitamin A, it is nutrient dense. 

Similar to kale and spinach, Swiss chard is rich in iron and a great addition to any healthy diet. The vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin K content is fairly high as well. 

Iron, vitamin C, and fiber are just a few of the key nutrients found in broccoli, which also has a considerable level. 

Iron, vitamin A, vitamin C, and potassium are just a few of the many vitamins and minerals found in beet greens, the leafy tops of beets.  

Vegetarians and vegans can receive the iron they need from soybeans, which include tofu and edamame. Protein and other nutrients are abundant in them as well. 

Legumes: Iron, protein, fiber, and other essential nutrients abound in lentils, which are legumes.
